Manual handling is fascinating subject and very relevant to all of us, at home and at work. If it is taught in a way that bores you then it has not been done well!

“I found this day extremely informative and plan to implement changes to my work environment immediately. I have been applying Janice’s principles of lifting and bending since walking out of the building last Monday and have noticed a vast improvement on my ongoing lower back problem. I now ask myself a simple question when lifting/stooping etc – ‘What other part of my body can I engage to support my back and what would Janice do?’ Thank you again.”

If this is the first time you are learning about manual handling or it has been a long time since your refresher, then we recommend you opt for our Manual Handling Foundation course which will empower you with a useful new perspective. For those working within settings with quite specific manual handling tasks such as warehousing, sports and transport we tailor the examples so that the learning is clearly made very relevant.

"A very good course; well presented and put across in a way that was easy to understand and grasp. The risk assessment session was especially very good!”
